Sinéad Proos is a nutritional scientist and food marketer by training. Driven by a passion to improve consumer’s health and wellbeing through innovation in food, Sinéad has held various global roles at NUMICO and DANONE Baby Nutrition in the Netherlands and management positions at Procter & Gamble (UK) and SKIM market research consultants. She returned to Ireland in 2009 to head up the infant nutrition research programme at Food for Health Ireland (FHI). She has since taken on the role of Senior Commercialisation & Innovation Manager FHI. Here she leads the centre’s efforts in commercialising outputs of the infant nutrition, metabolic health, healthy ageing, performance nutrition, and healthy cheese research programmes.
