Ian Grayson is an organic process chemist with more than 30 years’ experience in the development of new chemical processes in a range of fields and in transferring them to production. He has international experience, gained at Lonza, Laporte, Degussa and Evonik. He is currently with the Strategic Innovation Group in Evonik’s Health Care Business, looking at new products and applications for the nutraceutical and food supplements markets, among others. He is also supporting the technical marketing of Evonik’s range of pharmaceutical and food ingredients. He has several scientific publications on the applications of products such as amino acids and anthocyanins in human nutrition.
