Aldo Bernasconi, PhD, is the director of information and research for the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED). His experience as a Data Scientist includes modeling and forecasting, algorithm development, and data analysis in a variety of fields, including biostatistics, bioinformatics, market analysis and environmental science. His responsibilities at GOED include coordinating the collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of multiple sources of information relevant to omega-3 markets. Before joining GOED, Aldo spent two years at the University of Utah, developing strategies and procedures for the management of research samples and creation of biobanks. He holds a BS in mathematics from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Valparaíso, Chile, and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Utah.
