Currently, she is a Post-Doctoral research fellow in the School of Dentistry of Ribeirao Preto, University of Sao Paulo (FORP/USP). She is advisor in the Post-Graduate Program in Dentistry (Periodontology) at FORP/USP. She coordinates pre-clinical and clinical studies, with government funding, to investigate the effects of probiotics on periodontal diseases associated with systemic conditions, such as diabetes, metabolic syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis.
