Dr. Prasad Thakurdesai, is the General Manager - Scientific Affairs and Quality Assurance at Indus Biotech Private Limited, Pune, India. He earned degrees in pharmacy and medicine - Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) and PhD (Medicine) - from Nagpur University, Nagpur, India and is a registered pharmacist in India. He has 25 years of professional experience in academia and industry - with 93 research publications in international peer reviewed journals, 60 presentations in international conferences, 7 awards, 1 book and 1 book chapter to his name. He has guided 2 PhD and more than 32 M. Pharm students. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of pre-clinical (efficacy and safety) and clinical studies towards nutraceutical product development. He is contributes as a reviewer for many peer reviewed international scientific journals.
