Mr. Lan is working for SYNBIO TECH Incorporation as overseas manager for marketing and promotion of probiotic business. He has involved in the microbiological field for 20 years including 9 years in probiotic industry. When he was studying biotechnology at Texas A&M University, the lab and Intern experiences at the Southern Plains Agricultural Research Center of USDA has brought him the professional knowledge and lab skills from the principal microbiologist and researchers, such as amplification of DNA by PCR, RNA purification and analysis, cDNA synthesis, enzymatic detection, AFLP, SSR, gene gun transformation, and use of microarrays. To extend the lab skills and experience through a research experience, Mr. Lan learned how to do bioluminescence assays, Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE), and survival studies of E. coli O157:H7, and also learned how microfluidics applied to food safety in the Department of Chemical Engineering. After graduation, he started his career as a researcher specialized for gene identification of probiotics for human consumption. Thanks to the international demands, Mr. Lan is assigned to develop overseas business for SYNBIO TECH Incorporation for promoting probiotics in the industry of agricultures, livestock and poultry, aquacultures, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals, etc. The sales territory includes but not limited to Taiwan, China, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, South Eastern Asia, Middle Asia, European countries, etc. SYNBIO TECH INC is devoted to contribute better probiotics better life for well-beings on Earth.
