Probiotics Summit
Periodontal disease is considered a global public health problem with high incidence and prevalence. Given that the two main strategies for its treatment are the elimination of specific pathogens and control of the immunoinflammatory response of the host, probiotics undoubtedly represent a promising method to achieve these goals.
